Visit the Bernard Boesch museum, with its dedicated space for artists to create their works in Le Pouliguen.

The museum is the result of Bernard Boesch's philanthropic will. Bernard Boesch, architect and painter, died in 2005. He left an impressive collection of his works. He bequeathed his town and his garage to the commune of La Baule with the aim of creating a space dedicated to artists for the creation of their works and an accompaniment that allows them to disseminate their creations. This is how the museum and the artists' residence came into being. The structure of the museum includes a villa facing the sea, which houses a museum-gallery in homage to Bernard Boesch, whose vocation is, among other things, to promote his work, and an independent house-studio for artists in residence. As part of its permanent exhibition of design furniture, the museum ensures the permanence of approximately 1400 paintings by Bernard Boesch (oils on wood, watercolours and drawings).
