A shallow lagoon, a paradise for wading birds looking for food in the mud.
The lagoon has shallow water that specifically attracts mud-dwelling and foraging shorebirds. The banks have been softened in order to facilitate access for small shorebirds and to offer sites favourable to their reproduction. An observatory allows you to watch out for lapwings, white stilts, avocets, kingfishers, grey herons, blue throats and curlews. The large lagoon is home to various species of ducks, teal, geese, shelducks, terns, swans, gulls and gulls.
