L'EPICURIEN DE L'ABBAYE DE VILLENEUVE
Gastronomic restaurant with a menu based on excellent local produce from the Nantes region.
L'Épicurien, nestled in Villeneuve Abbey, lives up to its name. A remarkable setting, dating back to the 13th century, and a unique atmosphere, conducive to refinement. Young Michelin-starred chef Aymeric Depogny has it all. A menu based on excellent local produce from the Nantes region, with fish and aromatic herbs at the top of the list. Grilled rock octopus with West Indian thyme, red tuna loin with verbena ravigote sauce, barbecued veal sweetbreads with tomato and fig leaf... Proposals are inspired by the chef's universe and change with the seasons, including this unforgettable seven-act menu. Aymeric Depogny is also responsible for the bistronomic cuisine in the on-site brasserie, which offers a different atmosphere under its glass roof. The 4-star hotel boasts some very fine rooms.
