TRAM-TRAIN NANTES-CHÂTEAUBRIANT
Launched in 2014, the tram train connecting Nantes to Châteaubriant is now part of the public transport landscape. On the way, he makes 9 stops: Halucher-Batignolles, Babinière, Erdre Active, Chapelle Center, La Chapelle-Aulnay, Sucé-sur-Erdre, Nort-sur-Erdre, Abbaretz and Issé. This tram train can drive 70 km/h in the city and 100 km/h on the regional rail network without changing mode of transport. It has 250 to 500 seats depending on its configuration and performs about fifty trips per day. Note that for journeys made within the Nantes metropolitan area (from Nantes Station to La Chapelle-Launay), an Tan ticket (ticket or subscription) is valid at no additional cost. Beyond that, we need a transport title issued by the SNCF. From Monday to Friday, trams arriving or departing from Nantes Station (between 7:15 a. m. and 9 a. m. and 4:30 p. m. and 19 p. m.) accept bicycles subject to space available. Bicycle shelters are available at all stations.
