GARE DE NANTES
Nantes is an important gateway to Brittany, particularly for those coming from the south. Its railway station has two entrances, one to the north, the other to the south. The center can be reached by streetcar, which runs along the old river course, the Lieu Unique, the Château des Ducs de Bretagne... Formerly next door, the bus station is now on route de Paris. Access is by streetcar, Haluchère stop. On the north side, the Jardin des Plantes is a lovely place to stroll while waiting for your train: admire the funny benches designed by children's author Claude Ponti.
