La Tan is the public transport network of the Nantes agglomeration which is, by the way, very well served! Do you travel every day? Opt for the Libertan card and its Unlimited Formula. With the Customized Formula, travel at your own pace. And for more occasional trips, m-Tickets are available from your smartphone. With a Tan ticket, you can access the entire Tan network: tramway, Busway, bus (except for the airport shuttle, which requires a specific ticket), Chronobus, Navibus, TER (regional express train) in the city's stations and even Aléop on certain lines. Most lines run between 5am and 12:30am. Night owls beware! Tan is also present with Tramway, Busway and Chronobus in night service mode until 2:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Want to take to the sea? Come aboard the Navibus. Destination Trentemoult from the Maritime Station or, new in 2020, to the Banana Shed from Bas-Chantenay. Enjoy a mini cruise, the banks of the Loire and its bars and restaurants. And by downloading the Klaxit app, discover the carpooling Tan, the urban carpooling integrated to the Tan network. Free for Unlimited Plans, at the price of a validation for Customized Plans and 2 € per trip for non Libertan subscribers. Since the beginning of the school year in 2021, the network is free on weekends, which is even more reason to enjoy the city! So, shall we take you along?

Nantes since always, well-wisher of a trip by public transport for many reasons… that my city claims to defend… However, today it is more advantageous economically to take your car and walk to park in a covered pay parking to take the bus!!! It is scandalous! Moreover, the schedules of buses is absolutely not consistent… for example the c1 and 23 that go both in the same direction of haluchère pass per same hour to stops that they have in common and then we must wait for 10 minutes at best to have again one of the two buses! Are many delays also regret… and then a priori it tan considers that only the students travel by public transport because by May 1st schedules changes… and do not talk about school holidays that concern only teachers and students… the same for the care of the subscriptions that therefore concern only employees… for others…?? This yell is also linked to the systematic increase in rates at July… two years ago the subscription had extended from € 5 without knowing why the following year of one euro and this year from € 2!! Reason? we don't know it… as I don't see any improvement of service, service and work of summer therefore concerns usually only line 2… this is a message for Nantes tan Metropolis and it: it would be time to change your policy of transport!! Many Nantes has some enough!!!!

I don't know who could put a favourable opinion at the tan on this site but they are certainly not the Nantais. Transport is more expensive compared to the numbers of transport erected and their frequency of passage. Connections are almost never done. Some drivers have an abuse power refusing people to get into their bus. There are no machines to purchase tickets at the bus stops and inevitably tour/ticket assistance inside the latter is very expensive. The controllers have their quotas of infringments on the back of students. And strangely there is no opinion request on the site of the Tan because they know that there would not be good opinions. Not really the Tan can surely improve and especially communicate with these travellers rather than to grow rich on their back.
Have you just arrived in Nantes and don't you know yet very well how are connected all Nantes districts? Run in one of the TAN shops where you can buy a map of the bus and tram, and refuel with information on all the services of which you can enjoy in Nantes city. The network is very well developed and was designed to minimize the car, parking road houses located everywhere around the city.
