Djaam means peace in Wolof. Two friends, Sophie and Julie, run the business, which has three other outlets in France and sells mainly takeaway. Refined African fresh food with two flagship dishes: pastels and yassa, mafé and thieb poke bowls. You can compose your own dish using healthy, fresh ingredients. Beef, chicken, fish... but also gluten-free vegan and veggie recipes. Rice or fonio, a very fine semolina, or attiéké, manioc semolina, are the perfect accompaniments. For dessert, don't miss the African yoghurt with coconut, couscous and millet cream. Excellent homemade juices with ginger and hibiscus flower.
