Establishment near the Prefecture offering a delicate cuisine, Egyptian specialties.
This establishment, just a stone's throw from the Préfecture, offers authentic, delicate cuisine that will delight your taste buds, taking you on a journey back to the Egypt of the Pharaohs. On the plate: 100% homemade, in a range of menus with evocative names (Sphinx, Cleopatra, Ramses II...) featuring Egyptian specialties (vegan, vegetarian or meat-based) such as Kobeiba (ground beef and bulgur), Falafel (vegetarian croquettes with broad beans), Tehina (sesame sauce), Kouchary (rice and lentils), baba Ghanoug (eggplant caviar), Hawawchi (bread stuffed with minced beef and lamb), Charkassyia (chicken supreme, walnut sauce), Homos (chickpea cream), Warak Enab (stuffed vine leaves)... As for desserts, treat yourself to oriental sweets such as Goulache (puff pastry with honey and walnuts) or Konafa (angel hair with almonds and honey). The authentic, tasty dishes take us back to Egypt, where the friendly, smiling Amira hails from. This passionate cook also offers daily French formulas, such as this starter of tuna rillettes followed by a chicken supreme and then a tiramisu. So there's plenty to choose from. The Egyptian specialties are unique to Nantes, so a trip is guaranteed.
