LE DAI LOC
Restaurant featuring traditional Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai specialties in Nantes.
Within walking distance of the Saint-Donatien Basilica, there is a restaurant highlighting traditional Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai specialities. The decoration is simple and bright and a flat-screen reveals you fantastic tourist images of Asia. Starters and main courses fill your nose and mouth with their fragrance. You take the chopsticks out of their bag then break them. As a starter, taste the soups with the traditional Vietnamese phô or that with vermicelli called Hu Tieu Mytho. Hors d'oeuvres with the famous homemade Bo Bun with its rice noodles with beef meat, its spring rolls and its raw vegetables: it is very hearty, you can enjoy it as a single dish! As for the dishes, lovers of spicy food will be delighted with shrimps with spicy sauce varying with scallops and squids, while others can feast on stuffed crab (mixture of meat, crab, mushrooms and other secret ingredients). Note the new Thai dishes offered on the menu with Thai curry duck or beef in Thai way, typical dishes of the house and very appreciated. Of course, the traditional spring rolls and samosas, or frog legs with ginger and fried rice are there! All while sipping a coconut juice or a Chinese beer. At the end of the meal, you can finish with a little sake with a surprise at the bottom of the glass. So, remind that your next trip could be in Asia.
