Japanese restaurant and 100% fresh, local produce.
Behind this Asian-sounding name lies a new Japanese restaurant that opened in early 2020 in the heart of Ile Feydeau. And behind the stoves is head chef Jean-Philippe Dubois, trained for seven years by a Japanese sushi master. The chef is committed to working with fresh, local produce: fish from Sables-d'Olonne, chicken from Challans, pork from Ancenis... 100% fresh sushi, maki, gyudon, gyoza, tempura and yakitori! At lunchtime, you can choose from the bento menu, which is renewed weekly and includes coleslaw, miso soup, white rice and, for example, chicken tempura with an assortment of sushi including avocado/salmon/cheese Californian maki and salmon sashimi (with wasabi and ginger seasoning). Ever wanted to try a katsudon? A bowl of rice topped with fried pork and miso soup or coleslaw. And a moshi with green tea or black sesame to finish your meal with a subtle, sweet touch. As for drinks, let yourself be tempted by the original yuzu lemonade, direct from Japan, as well as sake and a variety of beers and whiskies. Suffice to say, here you'll find a real passion for Japan.
