Already two years of existence for this skewer specialist and3rd restaurant of Alexandre Challerie. Moreover, if you know this dynamic neighbourhood to say the least, you will have noticed that 3 of the 4 cases of this chef are located in a pocket handkerchief. So here you are in the den of the marinated and snacked kebabs. Lunchtime cooking, on the go for workers in a hurry but who want to take a break while dreaming of an elsewhere evoked by this street food tinged with exoticism. The place offers a few seats where you can sit down after ordering and picking up your dish at the counter and selecting your starter and/or dessert from the shelves of the fridge located at the entrance (packed in returnable glass jars). On the menu, an original selection of skewers renewed according to arrival: yakitori with morbier, salmon with sesame, chives and sweet chili sauce, lamb kefta, barbecue and Provencal beef or a veggie with falafels and candied vegetables; a choice of three garnishes such as roasted potatoes with spices, broccoli mousseline, yellow rice with turmeric. Alternatively, you can opt for the dish of the day, for example a pork cheek confit with red wine. For savoury beaks you can start with mackerel/ciboulette/lemon rillettes, a crispy vegetable wrap veggie, an old-fashioned mustard house terrine or a salad. The sweet tooth will enjoy a grandmother's rice pudding, a soft chocolate/pistachio nut, a fruit salad or a vanilla/caramel crumble cream. We salivate in advance!
