Restaurant with huge terrace, bar and tea room also during the day offering locavore, organic, good and fresh food
The Café de l 'Orangerie is an address like you like in this guide. Located in the heart of the beautiful plant garden of Nantes, this restaurant enjoys the calm, history and magnificence of the places, whatever the season. A superb glycine on the façade, a huge terrace overlooking the garden and playground of children (ideal to watch them from the corner of the eye…): The décor is planted. The hosts now, they are two: Aurèle and Elsa who took over the management of the site in 2016. To the program: of the locavore, the bio, the good… Here, we have lunch every hour of a refined seasonal cuisine that highlights the products and sharpen the taste buds. At lunchtime, at the Café de l 'Orangerie, you choose between 2 entries, 3 dishes (including 1 veggy) and 3 desserts. We have poured chickens from chickpea and coriander to cumin and coriander, serrano-like rosace, an osso-bucco calso way, basmati rice and small stove vegetables and to finish a cheesecake lemon curd… It's good and here fresh. In the evening, the Café de l 'Orangerie is open until the closing of the garden and offers a few nocturnal nights such as these three evenings in Spring. You can eat cheese plateaux, meats and small snacks to snack. The place is privatized from 25 people. The Café de l 'orangerie during the day is also a bar and tea room, ideal for a break.

If you love cheese cake, you must go. I popped in between train and a flight. Food yummy but cheesecake to die for
Malheureusement, le patron terriblement désagréable

Amazing lunch under an Autum sunshine, right in the jardin des plantes de Nantes, great service and the food is outstanding for a very reasonable price. Not to be missed and book in advance!
