L'ENTRECÔTE
Restaurant near the Place du Commerce serving a cheese platter, brasserie cuisine and desserts
This French institution created by Paul Gineste de Saurs in 1959 is located just a few steps from the Place du Commerce and Royal Square. The hotel has not been disgusted since 1980 despite its unique menu… Noon and evening, the queue is constant and the rustic atmosphere. But here, the centerpiece is the famous faux filet! This 170 g, tender and melting-up of the 170 g double filet is served with its famous sauce, which is the pride of this restaurant, and whose composition is kept secret (the light of light: takes your path…). Fried fries accompany him as well as a walnut salad with bread, and if desired Bordeaux Red or Rosé de l 'Entrecôte, French table wines. If you still have room after this formula, the smiling and friendly waitresses advise you the cheese platter, the profiteroles, chocolate vacherin or other typically French desserts (and why not a small digestive), which will conclude this rich meal. The authentic cuisine of this huge brewery fills the big faims every day! The restaurant does not take a reservation, so you cannot recommend early arrival (or be patient).
