Brasserie Parisiennes offers bistro cuisine just a five-minute walk from the Nantes train station.
For many Nantes residents, this restaurant located at the foot of the Château des Ducs is the Taverne du Château. Since 2017, the establishment has been completely renovated to be reborn under a new name: La Loco, a symbolic rapprochement with the station located a few steps away. This brand new Loco is attractive in many ways. First, its range of opening hours since it is open 7 days a week; then, for its setting that reminds us of the atmosphere of the great Parisian brasseries version 2017: it's chic without being ostentatious, it's modern without being flashy! Finally, for its menu which, although it too has taken up the great classics of bistro cuisine, has nevertheless evolved to attract a young and often busy clientele. There is a wide variety of sauerkraut (royal, Alsatian, jarreton, sea or duck confit), traditional fish (sole meunière or fisherman's stew) and meat (tartare, andouillette, steak or duck parmentier) but also a burger formula. La Loco is also the banc d'écailler and the Suzette pancakes flambéed in front of you. The restaurant, which impresses by its size, is ideal for groups, but its layout is perfect for a romantic meal. We like the outdoor terrace, ideal for the view of the castle or the Lu tower. La Loco is 5 minutes walk from the SNCF station (North exit) and also close to the Cité des Congrès, convenient to optimize your visits to Nantes with full steam....
