L'ODYSSÉE RESTAURANT
Restaurant with beautiful bay windows and a charming welcome in Nantes.
The Odyssey is a name that inspires the journey, that of the hero Ulysses, mentioned in the Iliad. Or those of the extraordinary Voyages extraordinaires of our famous Jules Verne from Nantes. And it is within this same boulevard (Jules-Verne) that a new restaurant, L'Odyssée, was born. Chef Pascal Vrignaud and his team with Christian in the dining room, make us travel with our taste buds. In a restaurant with beautiful bay windows, you can relax with this cradle of light. Here, the slate highlights a traditional bistro cuisine with fresh produce. The chef changes his menu according to his findings. The dishes are generous and well presented. At lunchtime, friendly formulas with chef's terrine, ricotta foam verrine. On the plate: a Troyes andouillette, a lamb mouse, the chef's burger. On Fridays often a regional dish like this good homemade cassoulet. The chef makes his own foie gras and smoked salmon (Scottish) and masters good desserts such as this berlingot glacé with raspberry coulis or this chocolate ice cream with mint chocolate chocolate or Catalan crème brûlée... Friday evening is afterwork with aperitif boards for relaxation. A pretty neighbourhood address that will attract emulators and new "travellers". The welcome is charming.
