BRASSERIE CAFE LE TAC
Café-restaurant offering simple, efficient, home-cooked market cuisine.
Well-known to residents of the Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides neighborhood, near the Parc du Grand Blottereau and Dalby, the bar-café and restaurant (formerly Brasserie Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides) has become Tac (Toutes Aides Café). Jean, a real clown by trade who has travelled extensively and brought laughter to audiences around the world, teamed up with chef Marion, backed up by Thierry, a former Landru and violon dingue chef... They decided to give this bar-café a new lease of life during the day and restaurant at lunchtime on weekdays! And tac: a short menu with a traditional brasserie offering, thanks to Marion's simple, efficient, home-cooked market cuisine. We've got a lovely, low-budget menu with a traditional country terrine, beef and carrots, vegetarian lasagne, croque-monsieur or madame with country bread from nearby bakeries and a nice salad to share with friends... or not With three rooms and a wine list that includes natural wines and Breton beers, this is above all a lively place where, on weekends, you can rub shoulders with Irish music concerts every third Friday of the month, and other music groups (gypsy jazz, classical music, rock of all kinds, depending on programming). There are also monthly Saturday morning writing workshops and temporary photo exhibitions. Bicycle repair workshop and oysters and muscadet! In short, you're served with tact... and no one ticks a box!
