CAFE DE LA BRANCHE
Café with terrace, offering hearty dishes based on fresh, local produce for big herons and little ones alike.
This is the place to put down your branch and watch the elephant go by from a sheltered terrace. This Machines de l'île café, located at one of the meridian points of the green line (one of its nerve centers), boasts a large south-facing terrace. Not far from the prototype branch of the Arbre aux Hérons. The food is fresh and local, and the restaurant team led by Sonia Medorezoff offers a dish of the day (fish, meat, grilled or veg) and good salads in summer. Hearty plates for the big herons and even for the little ones, a children's menu served during school vacations and on Wednesdays. And don't forget to stop for a bargain at the Machines de l'Île boutique-library.
