Restaurant near the Loire serving a different formula on the slate, a menu of fish and poultry
Near Loire, not far from the Anne de Bretagne bridge, there is a restaurant worthy of Jules Verne. At Machin Machine, a reference to its close neighbour, the island's Machines, you enter a pretty room with exposed stone walls and fall under the beautiful room decorated with antique objects charm. Common objects from the last century such as old telephones, century-old cameras or cameras from another era. A world map, the collection of 32 bound leather volumes by Jules Verne, invites us on a journey. Sit comfortably in the large white leather benches, for another trip, this time culinary. Every day, a different formula to the menu board. The menu is appetizing, between salmon tartare with candied lime and sichuan pepper or crispy poultry with petits Paris. As a dish, the tuna steak with virgin sauce, vegetable wok or squid with chorizo and coriander risotto in cuttlefish ink, or even the lamb tagine masala and its candied vegetables. For dessert, it's hard to choose between mango tart tatin, lime zest and mango sorbet, or salted butter caramel chocolate fondant. Enjoy your meal!
