Higher education and research institution of the Ministry of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry. Oniris trains about 1,100 students for veterinary professions (veterinary doctor diploma, pathologists and biologists), but also for engineering professions involving two further training courses: in agri-food/food, and in bioproductions. Oniris is the only French institution in which veterinary students and food/agro-food engineering students interact. Good to know: the emergency departments of the Oniris University Veterinary Hospital Centre welcome animals 24/7.
