PHOTO SAINT-PIERRE
Just a stone's throw from the cathedral, it's a guaranteed trip back in time! From old cameras from the 19th century to the latest cameras from the early 2000s, you can find everything at Photo Saint-Pierre. The amateurs and the nostalgic of the argentique will find their happiness in this shop. Since 1976, it is the niche of Bertrand Hardy, passionate, and in particular depositary of the brand of cameras Lomo and film Impossible Project. The shop has no less than 3,000 items, parts and accessories in its den. It is also possible to order prints and to equip oneself to set up a lab at home or to repair and maintain one's photographic equipment. The manager has in his possession the negatives of nearly 1,000 photographs of Old Nantes, from 1850 to the 1970s, which he is of course ready to reproduce for you, as well as some rare photographs by forgotten or renowned photographers. Photo Saint-Pierre also produces reports, weddings, identities, portraits and offers two training courses: to learn about black and white printing in the laboratory, and special shooting. A shop not to be missed for all photography enthusiasts.
