This entity includes the Nantes metropolitan area, i.e. Nantes and the 24 surrounding municipalities, i.e. more than 656,000 inhabitants, natural, agricultural and urban areas. It manages, among other things, transport, waste and urban development. Thus, the new MIN transferred to Rezé saw the light of day in February 2019 and the new Nantes train station in November 2020.
