KINYA MARUYAMA'S MONSTER
Here's a monster that should delight the children. It lies in Mercœur Square, at the foot of the castle, and with its dragon's head and long wooden spikes on its back, it lets itself be ridden by the young explorers and opens its mouth wide to the most daring of them. To slide on his red slide, you have to play a little Tarzan. The place is ideal for climbing, jumping and inventing an imaginary world. Installed since 2014 as part of the Voyage à Nantes, it is the result of the imagination of the Japanese artist Kinya Maruyama, also the creator of the Jardin étoilé, a work of the Paimbœuf Estuary tour. To recover from your emotions, head for the nearby water mirror....
