The Jules Verne Museum invites visitors on a "journey to the center of Verne's writing", through books, documents, excerpts from his works and illustrations, posters, games and objects. Thanks to the writer's grandson, it boasts furniture from his Amiens living room, his globe and his compass box. In 1966, the heirs of Maxime Guillon-Verne donated to the city of Nantes a large collection of correspondence, enabling visitors to discover his early literary essays. It's as if visitors have been drawn into Jules Verne's imagination.

Un joli petit musée à faire quand on a un peu de temps. On en apprend beaucoup sur la vie de Jules Verne et sur ces aventures, ainsi que de belles reliques du passé et de nombreuses œuvres d'art rattachés aux récit vernien. Prévoir environ une heure et demie de visite, ou plus si l'on souhaite regarder les films et vidéos d'informations sur le sujet qui sont projetés dans le musée.

People who are interested in the biography and novels of J. Verne won't find anything new in the museum. And who would like to get to know smth will not be able to do it, because everything is in French. If the museum were to be made interactive, it would be possible to attract children to reading and traveling.
