MORAINE PARK
A park with large redwoods and 400-year-old plane trees, a site steeped in history on the banks of the Sèvre river, waiting to be discovered.
On 3 hectares, between the banks of Sèvre and Jean-Baptiste Vigier, this park is the flagship of the Rezean parks. It hosts large redwoods and 400-year-old platanes, beautiful collections of camellias and rhododendrons, perennial species… A large brick chimney of the Nantaise Company testifies to the industrial past of the site. Turn in turn powder, fertilizer factory and palm oil production plant in the eighteenth century, the place becomes tannery and then manufactures chemicals in the nineteenth century. There is also a manor house, local artist's exhibition venue. Giant swings and slides make children happy.
