LUNAR TREE
It was in the context of Estuaire 2012 that Been and Moriceau, two artists from the Nantes School of Fine Arts, designed this Lunar Tree. A tree as petrified, 12 meters high from a immaculate white. Located on the Butte Sainte-Anne, facing the tip of the island of Nantes, the installation is visible from the square Marcel-Schwob but it is overnight, comfortably installed opposite it on the other side of the Loire, that it turns out to be thanks to this bright halo which escapes every branch of the tree. The sculpture therefore appears as a XXL drawing in volume.
