The workshop offers exhibitions of contemporary art, whether it be painting, sculpture, graff, photography, video or any other form. French or foreign, the creators invited to show their work are for some installed in the Nantes region. The building was built in 1866 and has several functions: shop, attic, stable, deposit of wine merchants. The sculptor Gérard Nearby lived there and worked between 1987 and 2005, before the City of Nantes became a buyer. Today, this site has five exhibition rooms (on 500 m ²) and an artist's workshop.
