One good bakery succeeds another. It is therefore in place of the Lesout bakery that L'Autre Boulangerie came into being at the end of November 2020. Adeline and Sylvain Jégou are at the helm of this new address (little sister of the one on rue Cassini) of the well-known Angevins and Nantais bakery. The shop is very small, but the customers flock to this beautiful variety of breads and cakes! The bakery at the Jégou's is a family affair... Sylvain is the brother of Christophe (baker's son) who trained alongside Michel Galloyer and set up his own business with the opening of his first bakery in 2004 in Angers. This brand new address in Nantes confirms the flourishing expansion that is the fruit of recognised know-how. The breads are made with Les Farines d'Émile, from the family flour mill Les Moulins Viron, which is organically grown using 100% French wheat. In addition to the Tradition baguette, a range of special breads is displayed in the shop window: farmhouse bread (spelt and pumpkin seed), dried fruit country bread, the delicious spelt ball, dried fruit/kougloff multi-cereal, millstone ball, cocoa, farmhouse bread, corn bread. On the pastry side, you will find the classics: coffee éclair, lemon tartlet, flan, paris-brest, and the most original like this blueberry and pistachio tartlet in the style of montagne Pelée, which you may be tempted to try! At lunchtime, a snacking offer is also available. Everything is made on the spot using quality raw materials. And the customers appreciate and ask for more!
