The Angevins are familiar with this famous bakery sign created by Nicolas Bécam, accompanied by his wife Cécile. They flock there to taste bread and cakes, and in particular the legendary soft chocolate Choc'O Roi, inaugurated in 2013 and subsequently declined in several versions including the subtle pistachio and fresh lemon. Since December 2020, the people of Nantes can at last enjoy the artisanal products of this baker who fell into the kneader when he was very young, and for good reason: his parents were bakers themselves. Because this house is much more than just a bakery, it also makes pastries, viennoiserie and snacks. With values of quality and high standards, here we are committed to kneading, shaping and baking bread and pastries on the spot using noble French raw materials (AOP butter from Charente, flour from the Minoterie Girardeau). This newly renovated shop becomes a beautiful transparent showcase for the gustatory and visual pleasure of good bread and delicacies. And keep an eye out for other shops to come in Nantes... including a rue des Carmes!
