AUX SAVEURS DES INDES
What if your meal takes you somewhere else? In India, for example. Come to the Flavours of India stand, at the Talensac market (under the hall, in the upper part), to prepare your trip. Smell the odours, close your eyes, let yourself be transported. Hasina welcomes you with a smile and advises you with great kindness. The specialities it offers are not spicy but very fragrant. We find the traditional "curry", i.e. vegetarian dishes such as Began Bharta (eggplant caviar), Massour (curry lentils), Dal (split peas in curry). But also dishes based on chicken, beef, lamb. In sauce, on the grill. Tested and approved Murgh Cachemir (chicken with yoghurt and turmeric). As a side dish, basmati rice, saffron or vegetable stew. To nibble: Indian breads (nans, chapatis, parathas), samossas (delicious)... Originally from northwest India (Gujarat), Hasina has lived in Nantes with her husband, Younouss, since 1992. For 15 years, they ran the Indian Tandoor restaurant (Buffon Street) and then established themselves as caterers. They have a second takeaway store, rue du Maréchal-Joffre, which they open at the end of the week.
