MAİSON ARLOT CHENG
There weren't many bakeries in this corner of the Ile de Nantes. In summer 2019, thanks to the generosity of Internet users and to the delight of lovers of good bread, La Maison Boulangerie was born. It's in this bright, raw, waxed concrete setting that Pierre-Antoine Arlot, Chin-Jy Cheng and their team of passionate baristas, bakers and pastry chefs are busy. Graduating as an organic artisan baker from the Ecole Internationale de Boulangerie, Pierre-Antoine cut his teeth in some of Europe's finest bakeries. At La Maison, the bread is artisanal, organic, sourdough and made with slow-fermented millstone flour. As for the coffees, they are roasted by Allpress, percolator and gentle extraction. As for the teas, they are selected by the Nantes-based source Patchouli & Co. In the window, the breads are beautiful and the crumbs delicate. On the premises, the coffees are tasted, crafted according to the rules of the art. In the heart of the creative district, gourmet treats inspired by international traditions are sure to inspire you!
