Previously manager of the Verger de St Do, Jean-Claude Mariette has been in charge of this creamery-cellar next door since 2017. In this friendly place with its marron glacé front, he warmly advises you on delicious cheeses of exceptional quality. Amaze your friends with a platter of Parthenay (goat's cheese matured on a chestnut leaf), Scarmoza (Italian smoked cheese), Bémontois (a slightly fruity Swiss between Gruyère and Comté), Napoléon (ewe's cheese) and Régalis (blue cheese), both created by Dominique Bouchait, Meilleur Ouvrier de France. And you can accompany your selection with a good bottle of wine chosen from the shop's cellar.
