BİSTROT ÇA MİJOTE
Ceviche, wok and fresh produce cuisine in a gourmet bistro with a terrace, in a friendly atmosphere, facing the Gournerie forest.
What a nice surprise to discover this beautiful house hidden among the many car dealers in this area at the end of 2019. Facing the forest of La Gournerie, behind these palm trees that welcome you, you would almost feel like you are in an exotic land with this house in colonial style... We climb a few steps, inside, the dark wood of the floor, tables and chairs echoes the greenery of the wallpaper strips.... We're in the rainforest. Large bay windows illuminate a room on the right, one on the left and one on the ground floor overlooking the terrace. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere friendly. The whole team is taking care of itself and the pastry chef even comes to check that everything is going well for his customers. And exoticism can also be found on the plate. Timothée Boucard is not on his first try. He was previously at the controls of his food truck, the Rout'Art Gourmand. This young thirty-year-old bourlingueur wanted to put down his suitcases in order to embark on the adventure of this gourmet bistro. And the result is in line with its ambitions. The menu changes every week, so you can enjoy the subtle blend of flavours of dishes made with fresh and local ingredients. For example, to start a surprising sea bream in ceviche, mango and passion, followed by a delicious half-cooked bluefin tuna, yuzu sauce and vegetable wok and to finish a delicious kalamansi/meringue verrine. Of course, you can also accompany your menu with quality wines. Here it simmers but also laughs, tastes and enjoys... What does it live for?!
