L'ORÉE DU BOİS
Restaurant in a sober and modern decoration in Orvault.
In the heart of a green setting in a park with trees, here is an excellent gastronomic address away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior is sober and modern, while the exterior is very bright and open to large windows. And in summer, a terrace on the water's edge, Zen and relaxing. In the kitchen, Chef Patrick Giraux, a member of the Toqués du Goût, prepares his menu with fresh, local and seasonal products. The chef and his brigade attach great importance to taste and the harmony of flavours. In the very well presented plates, you will discover for example the duck foie gras with citrus peel, brioche and gingerbread; the sliced milk-fed veal kidneys, deglazed with Marsala, mustard with grape must, sautéed grenailles with herbs; roasted langoustines, asparagus from the Loire Valley (Maison Poupard), coppa, parmesan whipped cream, large fleur de sel match, as well as, on the sweet side, the chocolate cake, passion fruit heart, coconut ice cream or the modern lemon tart with yuzzu and Italian meringue, cocoa nib ice cream. The chef also offers talented and inventive menus based on noble products such as truffles or lobsters and prepares, depending on the arrival, razor clams, sea urchins or clams. The service is pleasant and meticulous.
