The starry garden, one of the creations of the Estuaire contemporary art biennial in 2009, is an invitation to escape and wander.
Le Jardin Étoilé was created by Japanese artist Kinya Maruyama as part of the Estuaire contemporary art biennial held in 2009. It's a public garden. Located on the banks of the Loire, in the commune of Paimboeuf, this poetic garden seems to have come straight out of a dream. Working from the constellation of the Big Dipper, the artist built his Star Garden on the Paimboeuf quay using local materials (slate, sand and earth from the banks of the Loire, fishing net, reeds...).
