While the market in Piriac-sur-Mer may seem modest between October and April, it is also developed in season with up to 200 exhibitors on Mondays. The whole population of the Petite cité de Caractère and the surrounding villages rushes there to shop, before going for a drink on one of the surrounding terraces. It is held in the square, located at the beginning of Keroman Street, which goes to the port. There are many traders and producers in the region in fruits, vegetables, fish, dairy products and other local products. These can be found at the craft market held in July and August on Thursday evenings.
