Good address with terrace offering an inventive cuisine, a home-made couscous every Thursday and Friday evening

Take a step up to discover L'Escalier Gourmand. It is divided into several areas: the terrace in the staircase, the interior and below, another cute room with exposed stones. It serves inventive cuisine (guinea fowl supreme, tajine of scallops and prawns, mixed grilled a la plancha, fillet of red mullet with watercress cream) in a well-kept setting where tables, table-tops and paintings on the walls are combined. On Thursday and Friday evenings, a home-made couscous is offered. The selection of wines changes every month. A good address to discover.

Très bon accueil dans ce petit restaurant de Pornic. Les plats sont fait maison, le poisson est frais .La cassolette de St Jacques poisson excellente et généreuse. A refaire pour essayer le couscous qui , au vu de l'assiette de mon voisin , semble prometteur. Je recommande.

Breakfast on the inside because no place on the stairs. Service equal to a classic brasserie. Day menu with a well prepared lamb tajine but served in a red dish… The planned dessert was no longer available, and replacement mignards were not good.
