LE GRAND BAZAR
Behind its facade and its 1900 tent, this store hides an exceptional collection of nearly old kites, ranging from military use to leisure of rich tourists in the mid th century. Owner Georges Deffain discovered them in 1990, in a corner of the family attic. They were stored by his grandfather Charles who led a factory of wooden and kites in the Paris region. You have the Aero photo of 1903, which used to take photographs of the trenches during the war 14-18 or the Aigloplan, gold medal of the Lépine competition in 1909 which gave the illusion of the eagle's flight but also the Gull of 1911, the Grand Duke of 1920, or Martin-hunter of 1925. No kite is for sale, but the visit is free because they are tied to the store ceiling.
