Go to the Tourist Office to pick up your audioguide and discover the heritage of Préfailles! You can choose from 3 audio tours: the Defenses of the Coast, the History of Prefissures and the Circuit des Peintres. From Vauban to the Second World War, Pointe Saint-Gildas was the object of many attempts at defences and protection. The Coastal Defense Route will guide you to the blockhouses and the old semaphore. More romantic, the painters' circuit presents about fifteen paintings scattered along the coast. Each desk is placed back where the painter made his work, accompanied by a small commentary on the work in question. A way to discover Prefailles on foot or by bike, at your own pace, while learning.
