LE BISTROT DU PORT
Simple and entirely home-made cuisine in a village bistro on the quays of Trentemoult.
More than a year after changing ownership and completely redesigning its decoration, Le Bistrot du Port has taken over its place as the village's bistro on the banks of Trentemoult. Bar, café, tobacconist, post office and restaurant, this is a place like it used to be in every village. Terrace on the waterfront, colourful facade for the outside and vintage and maritime decoration for the inside, made very bright thanks to skylights. Here, the cuisine is simple and entirely homemade: soups, burgers, sandwiches, sardines (straight from Saint-Gilles and served à la plancha), fish terrines and mussels. There are also some local products on the menu, such as frog's legs with parsley and eel with chopped parsley. As for the dessert (nicely named "Les poignées d’amour"), you can be tempted by Granny's rice pudding, chocolate mousse or Aunt Léonie's Far Breton. Don't miss the detailed reading of the menu which, in addition to the dishes, offers a quasi-roman photo (with captions!) of the life of Eric, the owner of the place. In the evening, Le Bistrot du port is regularly transformed into an open-air café with concerts. Relaxed atmosphere and delicious setting.

en plus le service n'y est pas, la dernière fois j'ai eu l'impression que les serveurs et serveuses n'étaient vraiment pas heureux de travailler dans ce lieu, alors qu'il y a qq années il y avait une super ambiance!
