Gastronomic restaurant with a pleasant terrace offers an open kitchen on the banks of the Loire.
A veritable institution on the Quai de Trentemoult, Vincent and Élisabeth Leduc's La Civelle is enthroned among the houses with their colorful facades. This award-winning gourmet restaurant boasts a pleasant terrace on the banks of the Loire, where you can lunch, dine and lounge on deckchairs in summer. Inside, the restaurant can accommodate 160 diners in four elegant rooms: the main room downstairs benefits from the luminosity of the landscape thanks to large bay windows. An intermediate room with exposed stonework leads to the beautiful cellar, stocked with 300 references. Upstairs is a 100 m² room, with a view of the open kitchens through the glass roof on one side, and the tranquil Loire panorama on the other... The romantic balcony overlooking the building is the place to be for lovers. The materials are noble, the colors warm, the place friendly. You'll feel right at home. Curl up in the black leather seats and let yourself be guided by the menu and the inspiration of chef Franck Hodyk, who uses fresh produce to concoct his exquisite specialties. Head inland or out to sea, for example, for andouillette à la ficelle or choucroute de la mer au beurre nantais. Accessible by Navibus, this little corner of paradise lets you escape the hustle and bustle of the city to the other side of the river... as the motto at the entrance says, "À la Civelle la vie est belle".
