PROMENADE DE L'ÎLETTE À LA JAGUÈRE
Want to discover Rezé from the angle of nature? Take your shoes and take the walk # 14 "From L 'Îlette et de la Jaguère" by Nantes Métropole. The opportunity to make a complete tour of the commune for those who are not afraid about 16 km walk (4:30 a. m. at a good pace). Along the way you will go along various streams: The Loire, the Nantaise Sèvre, the Islette and the Jaguère and cross two types of landscapes. In the valley of the Sèvre Nantaise, the alleys are wide, the flat terrain and surrounded by vast wet meadows with mares, shrubs and hedges. The valley of the Isle offers narrow, steep paths in an underwater atmosphere. In the spring, the soil is stained with jacinths of wood to small violet bells. And we borrow from beautiful wooden gateways on piles and ponds. We also cross villages (Aufrère, Brosse…), the commercial zone Oceane and even the device! Suggestion from starting point to enjoy the hidden little corner of the Island: the ancient tannery of Vertou (rue de la Rousselière). There is a parking lot in front and the trail is marked (follow the yellow signs). By bus, take line 97, Stop "Road".
