Museum of the Navy accessible to people with reduced mobility, retracing the great epic of the sea and shipbuilding

This museum is located at the mouth of the Loire and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Built in the former fort of Mindin, dating from 1861 and renovated in 1983, the Musée de la Marine traces the great epic of the sea and shipbuilding. In its vaulted rooms with exposed stone walls, you can see ancient maps, numerous models of ships, both ancient and modern, and all kinds of objects, documents and paintings relating to maritime life. Two visits in one, as you will discover both the fort and the museum.
