Le Serpent d'Océan, a giant skeleton on the beach, a work by Huang Yong Ping in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins.

A giant skeleton lies on the beach, stranded there after a long journey across the oceans... Installed as part of the Estuaire 2012 exhibition, this work by Chinese artist Huang Yong Ping is anchored at the tip of Mindin, at the transverse limit of the sea. The work features one of the emblematic figures of Chinese mythology, playing with the curve of the Saint-Nazaire bridge, highlighting the beauty of a landscape that is wild on one side (Saint-Brevin) and industrial on the other (Saint-Nazaire). A snake that has become an essential part of the Brevin landscape.
