THE BRIVET MARSHES
Go there and contact
The Brivet marshes, a tributary of the Loire that feeds the surrounding marshes, offer a wealth of flora and fauna.
The Brivet rises in the Haut-Brivet marshes, between the communes of Sainte-Anne-sur-Brivet, Dréfféac and Saint-Gildas-des-Bois. It flows for 31 kilometres before flowing into the Loire estuary at the Méan lock. It is the last tributary of the Loire before it flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The Brivet feeds the surrounding marshes, which makes it a naturally rich site in fauna and flora. Iris, reeds flown over by dragonflies... It is an environment full of life and colors.
