THE VILLAGE OF KERHINET
Go there and contact
Visit the village of Kerhinet, a site entirely recreated by the Parc naturel régional de Brière in Saint-Lyphard.
This old hamlet of farmers and weavers, north-east of Guérande, was falling into ruin just 30 years ago. Since then, it has been entirely restored by the Brière Regional Nature Park and each house and garden has been restored to its former glory. An interpretation trail guides you to the wash house and the bread oven, telling you about the habits and customs of the village's former inhabitants. Time seems to have stood still a hundred years ago in the 18 thatched cottages that make up this village. A visit not to be missed under any circumstances!
