Tharon-Plage is the seaside resort of Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef. A real little town within the town, officially attached to Saint-Michel, but where you can find a real village atmosphere with its shops. It is in Tharon-Plage and not in Saint-Michel, that the crowd gathers in high season. The history of this village begins in 1895 with the construction of cottages on the beach. Nicknamed "the pearl of the Côte de Jade", the resort has many elegant villas, witnesses of the seaside craze of the early century.

Tharon La Plage
Petite station balnéaire familiale située dans un environnement très protégé de la baie du Cormier à St Brévin. Magnifique plage de sable nettoyée tous les matins. Baignade douce car pas de pente et très peu de vagues. Tout cela sécurisé par des maîtres nageurs. Nombreuses activités dont jeu de sable organisé par la municipalité. On peut pratiquer la pêche à pied (crevettes, palourdes, coques, petits poissons et aussi s’adonner aux sports nautiques sécurisés par un balisage. (planches, voiles, paddles etc.…) Chiens interdits sur la plage

Une longue plage agréable à parcourir. J'aime y passer et marcher sur cette plage qui mène de St Michel à Tharon. Parfait pour une balade et pour se baigner en été!
