AIRBUS ATLANTIC
Visit of an aeronautical industry in Saint-Nazaire, one of the main centers of excellence of Airbus.
In Saint-Nazaire, ships are built, but also planes. The aeronautics industry has been present in Saint-Nazaire since 1923: formerly seaplanes and propeller aircraft, today the Airbus fleet. It is a whole part of the formidable adventure of aircraft that is unveiled here in one of the largest European aeronautical centres. The Airbus Saint-Nazaire plant is one of Airbus' main centres of excellence. Visitors walk through the gigantic manufacturing halls where the nose tips and central fuselages of the entire range of Airbus aircraft, including the A380, the largest civil aircraft ever built, are assembled, equipped and tested. Footbridges and a specific route bring visitors as close as possible to the manufacturers and give impressive views of the sections being manufactured. This visit is part of the port's flagship tours of all trips.

C'est une véritable fourmilière qui complète ces tronçons d'avions. De nombreux métiers spécialisés pour créer un avion : ajusteurs, électriciens, coordinateurs techniques, contrôleurs,...
Très impressionnant et intéressant !
