THE WAY OF THE CUSTOMS OFFICERS
It has been a long time since there were no more customs officers, hats screwed on the head, sweeping the broad, looking for possible smugglers. Today, the Customs routes are open to all, which runs along the French coast. The beach of Saint-Nazaire is the starting point for a 7 km walk along the coastline. You can discover the local seafront, completely refurbished with its green spaces and many benches. You can walk, run and ride in a quiet way. Three bars are also located on the seafront, at the height of Sautron. These new developments are a real success and give a modern side to this trip. We go successively from charming coves into long family beaches (Villès-Martin, Bon-Anse, Porcé…). On the way, you can see the villas in the shade of parasols and green oaks, and then the Eve Fort, and we look at the va. Fragrant of the scents of resin and genêts, it has one of the most valuable afforestation of Saint Nazaire, exceptional for the region. Essentially Mediterranean vegetation grows here spontaneously. The trail continues until Saint-Marc and even Pornichet. This path shows the most beautiful way that Saint-Nazaire is truly a "city to the sea"! A very good outing with family or friends.
