Restaurant in the city centre of San Sebastian.
The Oliveraie has taken root in the city centre of San Sebastian, a stone's throw from the town hall. In the kitchen, Eric Gérault is busy and creates a traditional cuisine inspired by the delicate inspirations of his travels abroad. In the dining room, it is Mrs. Nathalie who provides the smiling and efficient service. In this long restaurant with its yellow walls, you can sit in one of the three rooms or on the patio. There, the walls are ochre and made of exposed stones, bamboo brings a touch of greenery and large parasols provide the necessary shade. If time permits, this is where you should settle down. The menu is short and complete with suggestions of the day, which always include meat and fish. That day on the plate: as a starter, duck briouat on a bed of salad, foie gras and its fig chutney, tomato tartar; pork spider with pork meat sauce and vegetable tian sauce; and finally: the soft chocolate and its melting heart with white chocolate. For vegetarians, note two dishes, one of which is a hamburger topped with a vegetable steak.
