The Church of Notre-Dame de Sainte-Pazanne is listed as a historical monument as a model of neo-gothic architecture. Its construction began in 1878, and it was built to replace a monument from 1819. It is the highest in the whole country of Retz. One can only admire its remarkable facade, richly decorated, with its many statues and bas-reliefs dominating its 3 portals. In the church, observe the very beautiful rosettes which decorate the transept, evoking in the left arm the life of the Virgin Mary and in the right arm the life of Christ.
